Kindness is the skill that every Head Hunter should look for in candidates.
Kindness is a form of empathy giving in well-being both to those who practice it and those who receive it, helping mutual understanding. Being kind is even more important at the office, where the quality of collaboration among colleagues benefits the realization of projects and the objectives achievement. Kindness, when practiced in daily work and actively promoted by kind leadership, builds team spirit and increases productivity.
An InfoJobs survey revealed that for eight out of ten Italians, kindness should appear among the soft skills indicated in a resume, as well as being a decisive element in the selection phase. Furthermore, according to 93% of the interviewees, when the boss is kind, people feel more motivated and responsible and therefore work better.
Kindness is a real commitment that we should all accept. It even deserves a dedicated day: November 13th was chosen because it pays tribute to the starting day of the World Kindness Movement conference held in 1997 in Tokyo and which led to the signing of the Declaration of Kindness.
